Suspected Kidnappers Killed In River State With Trying To Abduct A Pastor

Security operatives this morning engaged in a gun battle with 3 suspected kidnappers. The suspects were overpowered and shot dead in the gun battle.

The incident was said to have occurred in Isiokpo community in Rivers state.

According to a report by Vicky Thompson who shared the photos on social media, the alleged kidnappers were gunned down while trying to abduct a pastor in the area. An alarm was raised and security operatives who happened to be at the area at that moment were alerted and then engaged in a gun battle with the suspects.

In another kidnapping case that occurred in Ogbo-Ekere, Luwe -Nneiri in Osuachara ward, Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo state, a lady identified as Chiamaka Ukeji, was attacked by youth in the area for kidnapping and selling a 5 year old child. The youth stormed her home in the area with palm fronds and other dangerous weapons to destroy her properties.
