Jose Mourinho Prepared To Dump Alexis Sanchez For Barcelona Target
Manchester united are reportedly ready to cash in on Alexis Sanchez this summer to help fund a move for Antoine Griezmann.
The Chile international moved to Old Trafford as part of a deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move in the opposite direction to Arsenal.
The transfer was heralded by many as Mourinho managed to steal Sanchez from under the noses of Manchester City, who were originally favourites for his signature.
City were not prepared to match the wages their arch-rivals were willing to pay, meaning United became the front-runners.
However, in his seven games for United so far, Sanchez has found the net just once.
And the Red Devils have won just four matches since the 29-year-old made his debut last month.
His arrival has raised question marks over the futures of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford while United's summer plans to sign Antoine Griezmann have seemingly been put on hold once again.
But, according to El Gol Digital, United are already growing tired with Sanchez and are prepared to use him as a make-weight to bring Griezmann to Old Trafford.
The France international is expected to be highly coveted in the summer market with his previous release clause of £175million set to be slashed in half.
Barcelona are strongly linked with a potential move for the striker.
But there have been suggestions players such as Lionel Messi would not welcome a move for the 26-year-old.
