Charlie Puth Reveals He Had A Relationship With Selena Gomez

Last week, Charlie Puth dropped a major Hollywood romance bombshell on us in his Billboard interview: He had a "very short-lived, very small, but very impactful" relationship with Selena Gomez while they collaborated on "We Don't Talk Anymore" together.

Well, whatever the nature of their relationship was, it wasn't exactly mutual, and Selena wasn't nearly as "messed up" after the experience as Charlie was.

A source close to Selena told People that the star "never dated" Charlie.

Well, that's awkward.

I suppose both Charlie and Selena's recollections of their relationship could be true. Just because they never dated doesn't necessarily mean that nothing went down between the pair.

Charlie did seem to suggest they at least kissed. "I don’t kiss and tell, but the only way a song like that can come across as real is if there’s something else going on behind the scenes,” he said in his Billboard interview.

Could this be a case of two people hitting it off, but one person (Charlie) being way more attached than the other (Selena)?

Maybe. Probably.
