We partner with a privately owned recruitment company that owns over 260 hospitals in the UK and have evolved over the years of business to become specialists in the field of International Recruitment, Immigration and Training.
The entry point onto this program for an Overseas Nurse starts when they have met the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) entry requirements and IELTS score of 7 in each band.
REQUIREMENTS
NMC
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • A valid International passport. This same document must also be presented at the test centre.
  • Birth certificate.
  • A qualification certificate for each qualification.
  • Registration certificates from each jurisdiction where the applicant has practised and/or been registered. E.g. state registration certificate.
  • Two employment references confirming the applicant’s post-registration practice of at least 12 months, their competence and character.
  • Verifications from all jurisdictions where the applicant practised or where the applicant has been previously registered. (NMC will provide an “Overseas registration authority verification form” to be used in these cases.)
  • Transcript of training for all relevant nursing or midwifery programmes completed by the applicant. These must be calculated in hours or be accompanied by a letter from the training institution with a key to how the credits translate to hours.
  • A good health declaration from the applicant’s general practitioner or the occupational health department at their place of work.
  • A police clearance certificate from all countries where the applicant has lived since the age of 18.
OTHER
  • IELTS academic score of no less than 7 in all 4 bands on one test result. (To be paid for by the applicant)
  • One Year’s Clinical experience (Minimum)
  • Valid practising license.
  • Immigration Fees:
  1. Option A: Once applicants already have IELTS, ($1,000) One Thousand US Dollars which will be paid. Payments can be done in instalments.
  2. Option B: Applicant without the IELTS requirements will be registered and prepared for the exam and ($1,000) One Thousand US Dollars which will be paid only after the applicant has obtained necessary scores in IELTS.
SUMMARY
Stage 1: Nurses who have met the IELTS requirements and clinical experience are interviewed and conditional job offer made to candidate plus terms & conditions of sponsorship. Nurse accepts job, T&Cs which includes a three (3) year renewable work permit and Computer Based Test (CBT) training. CBT test and NMC registration is facilitated in Nigeria and paid for by the Organisation.
Stage 2: Nurses are available for sponsorship once candidate has passed their CBT and lodged all documents with NMC. Once visa secured, Nurse Boards Plane
Stage 3
  • Nurse arrives in the UK and has 3 months to sit and take and pass the Observed Structural Clinical Examination (OSCE) from start date of the Restricted Certificate of Sponsorship (RCOS).
  • The Organisation will provide single accommodation initially for the nurses at market rates.
  • OSCE training carried out. Pass OSCE and PIN issued within 7 days (based on our recent experience) Average minimum salary once Nurse has a PIN is £13.50 / hour over 42 hours/ week (£29,484 per year) with 264 hours per year of paid holidays.
  • Nurses allowed to re sit test if they fail the OSCE, within 10 days.
  • Nurses allowed to work as band 3 nurse waiting to re-sit OSCE. (Minimum salaries apply: £8.35 / hour)
  • The offer we have for the nurses is exceptionally generous, because the employer is paying for everything provided the Nurses stay the full 3 years, costs them absolutely nothing.
  • There is no advanced payment, upfront fees, to be paid by the Nurse and then repaid expenses on arrival the UK, It’s all fully funded.
Please Note: The organization will cover all the costs (UK Visa and travel costs will be paid for & NMC training & fee costs will be reclaimed if required) and will include a clause in their contract to say the following:
Should you leave employment with the Organization before the end of your initial 3 year contract you will be required to repay a proportion of the NMC training & fee costs which will be deducted from your final salary or require repayment by other means.
The proportions repayable are:
Employee leaves within 1 year         100%
Employee leaves within 2 years        75%
Employee leaves within 3 years        50%

  • Kindly note that we have partnered with certain examination and tutorial centers for the IELTS tests.
  • Immigration / processing fees of $1,000 will only be paid after applicant has acquired necessary IELTS scores after which necessary application / reference forms will be sent to the applicant.
  • All Nurses who meet the above requirements and pass interviews will be accepted for migration to the UK.
