Atletico Star Faces Possible Jail Time For Getting Married
Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez could be facing a possible jail time sentence for simply getting married.
In February last year Hernandez and his wife, Amelia Ossa Llorente, were given 31 days community service and a six-month mutual restraining order after he was found guilty of domestic abuse.
According to Spanish publication AS report that despite court order of 500 feet each given to the 21-year-old and his fiance and the pair decided to ignore the rule and rekindled their love and get married in Las Vegas last year June after four months later - they travelled to the Bahamas to celebrate their honeymoon.
On their return from the Bahamas, the Atletico Madrid defender and his wife were detained at Madrid's Adolfo Suárez-Barajas airport as Hernandez even spent the night in jail. Amalia was let go without charge due to the fact that she was never formally notified of the restraining order.
But prosecutors in Spain are calling for the centre-back to be jailed for one-year as he break a restraining order when he married his girlfriend last summer
